LAKE CHARLES, La. - The ULM cross country team competed in the McNeese Stampede on Saturday. The meet included competition from McNeese as well as Louisiana Tech and Southern.

The men's team took second place overall behind host McNeese. Carlo Martinez-Jaramillo took fourth place overall with a time of 19:51.40 in the four-mile.
Chase Gunn was right behind him in fifth place in 19:59.99.
Juwan Blignaut,
Brayden Ortiz, and
Teddy Gowen also finished in the top 20.

For the women, they also placed second place as a team behind McNeese.
Kimone Campbell placed second overall with a time of 17:46.90 in the 5K.
Eliana Battle placed fifth and
Ansley Long placed eighth.
Anna Naff and
Sohalia Schoen also placed in the top 15 coming in at 12th and 13th place.

The Warhawks are off until the Mook 4 Invite at Louisiana Tech on October 7.
