Coeur d'Alene Collegiate Invitational: Results After 36 Holes
 
MONROE, La. – The ULM women's golf team shot a combined 13-over-par 297 on Monday (Sept. 25) and slipped three spots into eighth place at 20-over 588 after 36 holes at the Coeur d'Alene Collegiate Invitational. The Warhawks head into Tuesday's final round just four strokes outside the Top 5 in the team standings.
 
Eight strokes separate the top three teams on the leaderboard at the par-71, 6,085-yard Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course. UC Davis leads the 13-team field at 1-under 567, followed by Seattle at 1-over 569 and tournament-host Gonzaga at 7-over 575. Gonzaga's Grace Lee sits atop the individual leaderboard at 11-under 131 (62-69).
 
ULM's top three golfers are separated by just seven shots in the individual standings.
 
Johanna Sjursen, who fired a 4-under 67 in the opening round, carded a 5-over 76 Monday and slid into a tie for 12th place at 1-over 143. After shooting a 5-over 40 on the front nine, she rebounded to score even-par 36 on the back nine, including a birdie at No. 12 to go along with seven pars. Her 36-hole totals include seven birdies and 22 pars.
 
Classmate Anna Andrysova trails Sjursen by one stroke, finishing the second round in 14th place at 2-over 144. Andrysova shot a 1-over 36 on the front nine with a pair of birdies (sixth and eighth holes) and four pars and followed with an even-par 36 on the back nine, including a birdie at No. 12 and seven pars. After 36 holes, she has recorded four birdies and 26 pars.
 
Daniela Campillo was ULM's biggest mover in the second round, climbing 15 spots on the leaderboard into a tie for 34th at 8-over 150. Campillo improved her score by four strokes, finishing with a 2-over 73. She posted a 1-over 36 on the front nine, including back-to-back birdies on the sixth and seventh holes to go along with four pars, and followed with a 1-over 37 on the back nine with six more pars and a birdie at No. 17. Her 36-hole scorecard features five birdies and 20 pars.   
 
After 36 holes, teammates Alessia Mengoni and Charley Jacobs are tied for 48th place at 11-over 153.
 
Mengoni carded a 1-over 36 on the front nine and faltered to a 6-over 42 on the back nine to finish the round at 7-over 78. She made two birdies (eighth and 12th holes) and eight pars on Day 2. Her 36-hole totals include five birdies and 16 pars.
 
Jacobs produced a 2-over 37 on the front nine with seven pars, including six straight heading into the turn, and delivered a 3-over 39 on the back nine with six more pars to close the third round at 5-over 76. Through 36 holes, she has managed 25 pars.  
 
The final round underway Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 7:30 a.m. PT. ULM is paired with UC Riverside and North Dakota State for the third round, with tee times set from 8:50-9:22 a.m. PT.
