RUSTON, La – The ULM cross country team competed in the Mook 4 Invite on Saturday.
The men finished second place overall, losing only to TCU, and beating teams like Louisiana Tech and Northwestern State. The women also finished in second with TCU being in first.
Carlo Martinez-Jaramillo was the top performer for the men finishing in the top ten with a 26:22.27 time in the 8k. Right behind him with
Rojs Puks, who secured 11
th place with a time of 26:25.21.
Juwan Blignaut,
Chase Gunn,
Teddy Gowen, and
Silas Christie also finished in the top 20.
For the women,
Ansley Long finished in seventh place with an 18:57.657 time in the 5k.
Anna Naff rounded up the top ten with a 19:08.033 time.
Lilly Schuster,
Sohalia Schoen, Sierra Barron, and
Gabriella Delgado also finished top 20 in individual standings.
The Warhawks are back in action on October 18 when they travel to the Crimson Classic in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
