Warhawks Season Ends in NCAA Regionals

COLLEGE STATION, Tx. – The ULM Cross Country team competed in the NCAA South Central Regionals on Friday morning.
 
The men's team placed 19th out of 32 teams. They defeated teams such as Houston Christian, McNeese State, and their Sun Belt Conference rival the Ragin' Cajuns.
 
Carlo Martinez-Jaramillo led the Warhawks, placing 39th with a time of 30:55.4 in the men's 10k. His performance is the highest individual finish in ULM men's history in NCAA Regional competition.
 
Along with Martinez-Jaramillo, Chase Gunn finished in the top 100 runners at 87th place with a 32:06.6 time. Rojs Puks just missed out, placing 105th.
 
There was no team score for the women. Anna Naff was the only runner to produce a top 100 finish with her at 94th place with a time of 21:43.6.
