"I am very excited to have Tyler join our staff," said Malone. "He is the right kind of coach and person for this job. I have no doubts that he will continue with our team's success in the Sun Belt Conference."

Stahl arrives in Monroe after serving as UNF's assistant track & cross country coach for three seasons. In his final season at North Florida, Stahl coached four First-Team All-ASUN, six Second-Team All-ASUN and two Third-Team All-ASUN cross country and track athletes. Stahl also coached Smilla Kolbe to an All-American finish at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the 800m and mentored Aidan O'Gorman to a U.S. Olympic Trials qualification in the 10,000m.

"I am thrilled to join this staff and continue the upward trajectory of the ULM men's & women's cross country and distance programs," said Stahl. "I am very grateful for this opportunity, and cannot wait to get started."
