BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Two first-place finishes in men's triple and long jump highlighted the day for the ULM indoor track and field team at the Green and Gold Invite on Saturday.

Algirdas Strelciunas took the win in the long jump with a mark of 7.51m (24-7.75), and
Stafon Roach placed first in the triple jump with a distance of 15.51m (50-10.75).

The group of
Imani Coleman,
Seneca Portlock, Jamarsha Huglon, and Ried Guirlando finished second place in the men's 4x400m to end the day.
J'Marcus Sewell placed top five in the 200m with a 21.54 time, and Elijah Paleo finished sixth in the 800m with a 1:55.37
Landon Spears and Joseph Morgan added two more top ten finishes in the 3000m and mile races.

For the women,
Savanna Lawson placed second in the long jump with a 5.62m (18-5.25) mark.
Sydney Lake also had a podium placement in the weight throw with a 17.47 (57-3.75) result.
Lilly Schuster had two top-five finishes in the 800m and mile, and
Cameron Mount also placed fifth in the pole vault.

The Warhawks make another trip to Houston next weekend, this time with the Howie Ryan Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 15.
