MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Maria Nikalaou and
Chase Gunn both took first in their respective events for ULM cross country at the Lois Davis Invitational Friday evening.
Nikalaou won the women's 5k with a 18:49.27 time as the Warhawk women swept the top five with
Tuva Sandberg,
Lenja Wiechers,
Maya Nobes, and
Anna Naff rounding up the top five.
Gunn ran a 25:39.28 in the men's 8k en route to a first-place finish. The Warhawks also had Issac Cupp, Joseph Morgan, and
River Richard place third, fourth, and fifth respectively.
ULM's next meet isn't until Oct. 4 with a trip to Fayetteville, Ark. at the Chile Pepper Festival.
