HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The ULM cross country team continued the season, competing in the Southern Showcase, hosted by Jacksonville State. The women placed 18th of 31 teams in the 5k, as the men finished 21st of 29 competing teams in the 8k.

Tuva Sandberg led the team, finishing 36th of 309 competitors with a time of 17:37.3. Maria Nikolaou finished behind her with a 18:40.8, Rebekka Flotho rounding out the top three Warhawks (18:41.4).

Kgaogelo Moloisi finished in 22nd among the men's 8k with a time of 24:29.6. Josh Gill followed with a 25:51.3, as Isaac Cupp finished with a 26:13.4.

The Warhawks will continue the season by hosting the Warhawk Invitational in Sterlington, Louisiana. Competition will begin at 6:15 p.m. on September 25.
