2017-18 (JUNIOR): Participated in 10 meets over the course of the 2018 campaign, taking part in the long jump, triple jump and 4x100 meter relay events … made his collegiate debut at the LSU Bayou Bengal where he placed 11th in the long jump by stretching out 22-feet, 3-inches (6.78m) … placed second in the long jump of the Samford Open (Feb. 10) by virtue of a 7.00m performance … took part in the Sun Belt Indoor Championships on Feb. 19-20, placing 10th in both the long jump (22-8) and triple jump (45-3.50) … opened the outdoor season with an eighth-place finish in the McNeese Louisiana Challenge (6.86m) … finished just outside the Top-5 in the long jump event of the Bobby Lane Invitational (22-11.25), where he was sixth … wrapped up the Texas State Bobcat Invitational in seventh in the long jump (7.04m) … stretched out for 22-feet, 2.5-inches as he finished sixth at the Warhawk Classic (April 14). Added a fifth-place finish in the 4x100 meter relay (42.66) while competing alongside Kenneth Johnson, Jemal Parharm and Emile Trahan … concluded the LSU Alumni Gold event with a ninth-place outing in the long jump (6.91m) … posted his third and final Top-5 outing of the season in the long jump event of the Southern Miss Open (6.95m) … put the finishing touches on the campaign with at the Sun Belt Outdoor Championships a pair of ninth-place outings in the triple jump (45-5.25) and 4x100 meter relay (42.25) and a 10th-place finish in the long jump event (23-2.75).

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Attended Dublin City University … ended his freshman season by establishing a 7.18 meter leap in the long jump … placed second at the Irish University Championships in both the indoor and outdoor competitions, capturing the team championship as a freshman … capped off his sophomore season as the Irish University long jump champion, winning both the indoor and outdoor championship as well as the U-23 long jump championship … won back-to-back team championships at the Irish University Championships … returned to Dublin City University as a junior and captured second at the Irish Senior National Championship, with a distance off 7.42w in the long jump … came through with a second place outing at the Scottish Senior National Championships as a junior. 

PREP: Attended Grange Post primary in Dublin, Ireland … a two-sport athlete that competed in soccer and track … best finish in the long jump event as a sophomore was 12th as a sophomore … closed his junior season by placing sixth in the Irish Schools long jump event … captured the Irish Schools long jump championship as a senior … earned two letters in soccer.  

PERSONAL: Colm Bourke … born Oct. 27, 1994 … son of Rosaleen and David Bourke … has two brothers (John, Noel) … pursuing a master’s degree in psychology.
