FRESHMAN (2019): Competed in six events over the course of the 2019 season … opened her Warhawk career by placing ninth in long jump (17-feet) of the LSU Bayou Bengal (Feb. 1) … put together an eighth-place outing in long jump (17-feet, 4 ¼-inches) at the McNeese Louisiana Challenge (March 9) … had her best finish (14th) in the 100-meter dash (12.87) at the McNeese Louisiana Challenge (March 9) … emerged 12th overall in the long jump at the Louisiana Classics (March 16) … concluded her season in eighth in the long jump (5.19 meters) at the Carl Kight Invitational (April 5). 

PREP: Attended Episcopal High School in Baton Rouge, La. … a four-year letterwinner in both basketball and track … spent his final two years at Episcopal High School, beginning in his junior campaign where he took part in the 400 meter, 4x200 meter relay and 4x400 meter relay events … capped off his junior season by winning first place in state championship in 4x200 meter relay and 4x400 meter relays, while placing third in the 400 meter dash … named Most Valuable Teammate at the conclusion of his junior season … recognized as team captain as a senior, earning the most points on the team over the course of the slate … finished as the state runner-up in the long jump, 400 meter dash and 4x400 meter relays …  a standout basketball player that helped lead his team to all-district crown. 

PERSONAL: Hunter Rene Heaslip … born Nov. 24, 1999 … daughter of Jean and Kyle Heaslip … has one sister (Riely) … father Kyle played football at ULM … member of the National Honors Society … majoring in nursing.
