FALL 2020 (SENIOR): Took part in a pair of fall tournaments … opened his senior season by competing in the UTSA / Lone Star Invitational (Sept. 16-17), resulting a tie for 45th … posted scores of 72, 80 and 78 in succession at the UTSA / Lone Star Invitational as he closed 14-over-par with a three-day score of 230 … returned to the course at the Graeme McDowell Invitational (Sept. 22-24), finishing in a tie for 82nd … wrapped up the Graeme McDowell Invitational by carding a 235 with scores of 79, 79 and 77. 

2018-19 (JUNIOR): Competed in five tournaments over the duration of the fall season … made an immediate impact for the Warhawks as he finished in a tie for 10th at the Lone Star Invitational as he finished 2-over-par with a total score of 146 (75, 71) … garnered a 38th-place finish in the Louisville Cardinal Challenge with a 3-over-par score of 216 (69, 73, 74) … enjoyed his second Top-20 performance of the season at the David Toms Intercollegiate, finishing tied for 18th with a 6-over-par score of 222 (78, 71, 72) … placed 37th in the Quail Valley Intercollegiate as he enjoyed rounds of 74, 69 and 75 for a 218 (+2) … closed out the fall portion of the season at the Little Rock Invitational, finishing 46th, as he fired a 227 (78, 74, 75) with an 11-over-par … capped off the fall slate with the third-best scoring average (73.50) of any Warhawk men’s golfer … responsible for the second-most birdies (36) of any ULM men’s golfer ... competed in five tournaments over the course of the spring, finishing among the Top-20 at the Lake Charles Toyota Invitational (March 18-19) … tied his single-round career-low (67) in the second round of the Old Waverly Collegiate Championships … carded three rounds in the 60s, including his first back-to-back round of 60s at the Lake Charles Toyota Invitational (March 18-19) … opened his spring slate at the Tiger Invitational (Feb. 24-26), placing 51st in the process, after finishing 11-over-par with a score of 227 (78-75-74) … followed with a 16th-place outing at the Lake Charles Toyota Invitational (March 18-19), finishing 5-under-par with a score of 211 (73-69-69) … capped off the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate (April 1-2) in 25th after posting an 8-under-par score of 224 (78-75-71) … notched the 16th Top-30 finish of his collegiate career by virtue of a 26th-place outing at the Old Waverly Collegiate Championships (April 15-17) after finishing even-par with a score of 216 (74-67-75) … played one round of the Sun Belt Championships (April 21-23), finishing with 79, before having to retire due to injury. 

2017-18 (SOPHOMORE): Took part in 11 tournaments over the course of the season … opened the fall slate at the Golfweek Conference Challenge where he capped off the event in 22nd-place with a 2-over-par score of 218 (77, 68, 73) … ended the Northern Illinois Intercollegiate tied for 39th after carding a 221 (+5) after rounds of 69, 73 and 79 … took part in the Louisville Cardinal Challenge where he finished with a 236 (77, 82, 77) and placed 66th in the process … completed the fall slate with a 20th-place finish at the Duck Commander Intercollegiate as he finished 18-over-par with a 234 … began the spring season by placing 12th in the Louisiana Classics with a 3-under-par score of 213 (71, 68, 74) … capped off the Border Olympics with a 21st-place outing as he finished 2-under-par with a score of 214 (71, 71, 72) … competed in the Lone Star Invitational, placing 37th with a combined score of 223 (76, 74, 73) … earned a split in the Mystic Creek Match Play as he downed Little Rock’s Logan Page (1 UP) and suffered a setback to Arkansas State’s Matt Cole (3-2) … fired rounds of 75 and 72 to finish with a 3-over-par score of 147, placing 37th, in the Gary Koch Invitational … emerged with his third Top-20 finish of the season, 12th, in the Old Waverly Intercollegiate, as he fired a 4-over-par score of 220 (70, 72, 78) … posted his best finish of the season, sixth, as he finished with a 1-over-par by virtue of a 214 (70, 69, 75) in the Sun Belt Championship.
 
2016-17 (FRESHMAN): Competed in 10 tournaments over the course of the season … made his collegiate debut in the Sam Hall Intercollegiate, posting a 2-over-par score of 215 (72, 67, 76) to place 22nd … followed his debut with a 16th-place performance in the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate where he tallied a 2-over-par score of 219 that included rounds of 70, 79 and 69 … completed the David Toms in 36th with a combined score of 231, finishing 15-over-par in the process, after rounds of 75, 76 and 80 … enjoyed his second Top-20 outing of the fall slate in the Duck Commander Intercollegiate, tying for 14th, as he combined for a 225 (73, 73, 79) … opened the spring slate by tying for first-place at the Atchafalaya Intercollegiate as he finished 3-under-par with a 213 (70, 69, 74) … followed that with a seventh-place tie at the Colin Montgomerie / Houston Baptist Invitational, carding an even par score of 216 (67, 76, 73) … took part in the Border Olympics, placing 57th, with a 4-over-par score of 148 (73, 75) … capped off March with an 11th-place finish in the Little Rock First Tee Collegiate Classic with a three-round 219 (73, 73, 73) … emerged with a 14-over-par score of 226 at the Chambers Bay Invitational after rounds of 76, 75 and 75 … posted a 235 (73, 82, 80) in his final event of the season, the Gary Koch Invitational, where he placed himself in a tie for 74th.

PREP: He ranked as the No. 3 amateur in Portugal and is a member of the Portuguese National Team. He placed third at the International Juniors of Belgium after a four-round total of 290 (73-73-72-72). Girao was the winner of the Portuguese Federation Cup in 2015 and finished in the top 30 at the 2016 Italian Amateur (291; 70-79-69-73). In 2014 he finished tied for third at the Spanish International U-18 Championship with a score of 287 (73-71-73-70).
