JUNIOR (2021): Began the season with a pair of seventh-place finishes at the LSU Purple Tiger (Jan. 16) in both the shot put (11.32 meters) and weight throw (15.87 meters) events … emerged with an eighth-place finish in the weight throw (14.75 meters) and 12th-place outing in the shot put (10.35 meters) at the LSU Louisiana Invitational (Jan. 29) … narrowly missed the Top-10 in the weight throw at the USA Jaguar Invitational (Feb. 7) as she finished 11th with a toss of 14.56 meters … earned a ninth-place finish in the weight throw event of the Sun Belt Indoor Championship (Feb. 22) with a heave of 16.34 meters … had a pair of Top-10 finishes at the Little Rock Invitational (April 10) by placing second in the hammer throw (46.03 meters) and seventh in the shot put (12.51 meters). 

SOPHOMORE (2020): Emerged with three Top-10 finishes over the course of the season … opened the slate at the LSU Purple Tiger (Jan. 10), finishing ninth in the weight throw (15.40 meters) and 15th in the shot put (10.38 meters) … capped off the Ted Nelson Invitational (Jan. 17) by finishing 25th in the shot put (10.16 meters) … closed out January at the Houston Invitational (Jan. 31) by competing in both the shot put (11.37 meters) and weight throw (15.39 meters), resulting in 21st and 23rd place finishes, respectively … came through with her second Top-10 finish in the weight throw on the season at the Samford Invitational (Feb. 15) as she was eighth with a heave of 14.98 meters … also earned 14th in the shot put (11.63 meters) at the Samford Invitational … was among the Top-10 finishers in the weight throw (15.76 meters) at the Sun Belt Indoor Championships (Feb. 24-25), finishing ninth, while posting a 17th-place finish in the shot put after reaching 37-feet, 3 ¼-inches (11.36 meters). 

FRESHMAN (2019): Competed in 11 events over the course of the 2019 season, including her collegiate debut, which took place at the Ted Nelson Invitational (Jan. 11) … capped off her debut by placing 17th in the weight throw (44-feet, 10 ¼-inches) and 18th in the shot put (38-feet, ¼-inches) … snagged the first Top-10 of her career at the Texas Tech Classic, when she placed eighth in the weight throw (14.05 meters) on Jan. 26 … was 11th at the LSU Bayou Bengal (Feb. 1) in the shot put, following a heave of 33-feet, 10-inches … opened the outdoor slate with by placing seventh in the hammer throw (138-feet, 7-inches) and ninth in the shot put (36-feet, 7-inches) at the McNeese Louisiana Challenge (March 9) … finished sixth in the shot put (12.67 meters) at the Louisiana Classics (March 16) … capped off the Carl Kight Invitational (April 5) by placing eighth in the shot put (12.13 meters) … ended the season at the Sun Belt Outdoor Championship (May 11-12), finishing 14th in the shot put (12.30 meters) and 20th in the hammer throw events (133-feet, 2-inches). 

PREP: Attended Conroe High School in Conroe, Texas … took part in both powerlifting (two years) and track (four years) … earned second place at state championships and Team Field Most Valuable Player as a junior … garnered Field Most Valuable Player, first team all-state, first team all-district and first team all-area honors in shot put as a senior... Set a personal best 44'1" in shot put as a senior at the UIL 6A Area 11/12.

PERSONAL: Jadyn Alexandria Walden … born Oct. 14, 1999 … daughter of Kimberly Richardson and Marcus Walden … has three sisters (Shemar, Daesha and Jasmine) … majoring in kinesiology.
