Second-Team All-Sun Belt Conference with Kaitlyn Nowak … Finished the season with a 24-9 record … Went 14-7 on court one and 10-2 on court two for the season … Played the final five matches of the season with Rylin Adams on court one, recording three results, going 1-2 … Played on court one with Adams at the Sun Belt Conference Championship (April 27-28) and did not record a result in the first two matches due to weather restrictions while dropping the third match … Closed out the New Orleans Invitational (April 13-14) by playing the final two matches with Adams on court one, defeating Stephen F. Austin’s Madison Morrow and Hannah Ogden (21-18, 22-20) … Played the first 30 matches of the season with Kaitlyn Nowak, going 23-7 overall, with a 13-5 mark on court one and a 10-2 record on court two … Played on court two for three consecutive tournaments, the ULM Bayou Bash (March 24-25), Blazer Beach Duals (March 31-April 1) and ULM Beach Invitational (April 7-8) … Earned four wins at the ULM Beach Invitational (April 7-8), defeating Spring Hill’s Jaylyne Bell and Mikayla Boyer (21-17, 16-21, 15-12), SFA’s Chloe Culver and Natalie Bennett (21-14, 21-15), Central Arkansas’ Evelyn Griffith and Marissa Gilmore (21-17, 21-10) and Hendrix’s Rebecca Solina and Lauren Rothe (21-9, 21-11) … Picked up two wins at the Blazer Beach Duals (March 31-April 1), downing Jacksonville State’s Luci Wilkinson and Kylee Quigley (19-21, 21-14, 15-12) and Austin Peay’s Chloee McDaniel and Mikayla Powell (21-15, 21-16) … Took all four matches at the ULM Bayou Bash (March 24-25), beating Southwest Baptist’s Janel Pido and Loran Pritchett (21-14, 21-15), Nicholls’ Luci Chuong and Katie Jones (21-18, 21-12) and Texas A&M-Kingsville’s Rylie Anderson and Madelyn Wallace (21-14, 21-17) … Played on court one over the first four tournaments of the season … Won a pair of matches at the Lion Up Beach Bash in Youngsville, Louisiana, (March 17-18) knocking off Spring Hill’s Kassandra Fairly and Jessica Fairly (15-21, 21-19, 15-11) and Nicholls’ Kennedi Steele and Aspen Steele (21-11, 21-19) … Picked up three wins at the Mary Hardin-Baylor Invitational (March 10-11), earning victories over East Texas Baptist’s Ashley Salas and Madison McDonald (21-12, 21-11), UMHB’s Olivia Sherbert and Shelby Broekhuizen (21-9, 21-6) and Hendrix’s Abby Collier and Kyler Greenlee (20-22, 21-18, 15-10) … Won the first nine matches of the year … Won all four matches at the Nicholls Invitational (March 3-4), knocking off Loyola (La.)’s Kala Emanuelli and Madeline Corrall (21-13, 21-12), Nicholls’ Kennedi and Aspen Steele (21-17, 21-11), LaGrange’s Bailey Moss and Zentrina Choice (21-10, 21-6) and New Orleans’ Ania Esarte and Maria Ozaeta (26-24, 11-21, 15-11) … Opened the season with four victories at the Texas A&M-Kingsville Invitational (Feb. 24-25), beating Missouri Baptist’s Liz van Houwelingen and Nathiellen Machado (21-12, 21-14), Utah’s Amaya Messier and Katie McAlister (21-18, 15-21, 15-11), ETBU’s Ashley Salas and Madison McDonald (21-14, 21-9) and Corban’s Megan Dennis and Avari Ridgway (21-17, 21-17).

Preseason All-Conference USA selection … Tied for third on the team with Audrey Brooks with 13 wins after going 13-19 … Teamed up with Rylin Adams on court two for a victory over Southern Miss’ Vanessa Hurnikova and Konstance Garraway, 2-0 (23-21, 21-18) as part of ULM’s 3-2 win over USM for its first-ever postseason win in program history at the Conference USA Championship (4/29/22) … Won four of her final five matches of the regular season, paired with Adams on court two, capped off with a sweep of the competition at the Blazer Beach Bash (4/15-4/16/22), defeating Mercer’s Nicole O’Mara and Sydney Benson, 2-0 (21-10, 21-15), UAB’s Dylynn Otte and Jenna Gathright, 2-0 (21-15, 22-20), and North Alabama’s Mackenzie Martin and Catie Ladner, 2-0 (25-23, 21-14) … Paired with Brooks on court one to win two matches at the ULM Beach Invitational, defeating Mary Hardin-Baylor’s Anna Guidry and Shelby Broekhuizen, 2-0 (21-8, 21-7) and Southeastern’s Jolie Hidalgo and Meagan Scuderi, 2-0 (22-20, 21-19) (4/1-4/2/22) … Won a pair of matches with Brooks on court one at the ULM Bayou Bash, defeating Houston Baptist’s Brennan Miller and Maddie Butters, 2-0 (21-18, 21-15) and Nicholls’ Kylie Lockhart and Devon Bright, 2-0 (21-14, 21-7) (3/4-3/5/22) … Closed the season-opening Houston Baptist Tournament (2/25-2/26/22) with two wins alongside Brooks on court one, defeating Southeastern’s Hannah Barosh and Hannah Brewer, 2-0 (21-13, 21-16) and Houston Baptist’s Miller and Butters, 2-0 (21-17, 21-19).
2021 (SOPHOMORE)
ULM’s No. 1 pair of Julia Blazek and Audrey Brooks established the program record for most wins in a single-season by a No. 1 pairing with 21 ... the pairing became the first in ULM beach volleyball history to record 20 wins in a season, topping a pair of 18-win outings by the tandems of Marcela Araya/Michelle McNammee as well as Grace Convey/Gabby Love … earned 15 of their 20 victories in two sets, while claiming three of their three-set wins by rebounding from an opening set loss to win the final two sets … Blazek and Brooks were responsible for two of ULM’s seven points in February, earning their first win of the season against the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi pair of Micaela Mirabala and Giuliana Corrales on Feb. 26th … followed that with a 21-18, 23-25, 15-7 win over the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi pair of Corrales and Brooke Pertuit … month of March resulted in 11 wins for the pair, including a 21-11, 24-22 victory over Spring Hill to open the month on March 5t … they were responsible for the lone ULM point against Tulane on March 6th, earning a 21-18, 24-22 win against Taring Mergener and Eva Torruella, their first CCSA win … after a three-set win over Roxanne Morris and Olivia Nicholson of Texas A&M-Kingsville, which came after losing the first set, Brooks and Blazek earned a three-set decision over Missouri State’s pair of Chloe Filipski and Tylar Garrett on March 11th … won four of their next five in two-set fashion, defeating opposition from Hendrix, Central Arkansas, Southeastern and Stephen F. Austin along the way … also came through with a 21-18, 18-21, 15-9 win against Veronia Corcoran and Victoria Corcoran of New Orleans on March 13th at the ULM Beach Invitational … notched their third CCSA victory of the slate on March 25th, defeating Missouri State’s tandem of Garrett and Filipski in two sets, 21-11, 21-18 … after sweeping the Bear Challenge with a win over Ottawa’s No. 1 pair, Blazek and Brooks added a fourth CCSA win by defeating Tulane’s Kendall Peters and Eva Torruella on April 3rd … that victory was one of seven in April for the pair, six of which came in two sets … three of the seven wins came against Central Arkansas and the only three-set victory was against Spring Hill, which came on April 9th … the pair was responsible for the lone ULM point in the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) Beach Volleyball Tournament by putting together a 14-21, 21-19, 15-13 win against the Florida International pairing of Roberta Ribeiro and Federica Frasca.
2020 (FRESHMAN)
Made her collegiate debut on February 21st against Florida State and was paired with Grace Convey as a second seed, but the Seminole tandem claimed the 21-12, 21-12 victory … claimed her first victory, while being teamed with Convey, on February 22nd, as they downed Bri Civiero/Valerie Rosequist (Tampa) by scores of 21-18, 21-19 … concluded February play with a series of wins with Convey as a her partner … the first of the wins came on February 24th when the duo downed Piper Matsumoto/Madison Lawler (Southern Miss.) by scores of 21-15, 17-21, 15-12 … on February 28th the pair claimed a 21-10, 21-9 win over Kaylin Johnson/Kennedy Wilson (Eastern Kentucky) … wrapped up February with a 21-8, 21-16 win, while teamed with Convey, over Emily Venable/Jackie Alanis (Nicholls State) … opened March with new partner Gabby Love and claimed a 21-15, 21-13 win over Emily Venable/Emily Gauthreaux (Nicholls State) … grabbed her sixth of the season, second alongside Love, with a 21-19, 21-10 win against Payton Gidney/Mikayla Boyer (Spring Hill).
