Finished 12-20 in her second season at ULM, playing on courts four and five … Opened the Blazer Beach Bash with her second consecutive win, pairing with Tamsie Black for a 2-0 (21-12, 21-17) win over Mercer’s Jordan Morris and Kathryn Corbett (4/15/22) … Paired with Abbie Elder to close the Southern Miss Invitational with a 2-0 (21-16, 21-11) win over New Orleans’ Valerie Vujnovich and Taylore Louviere (4/9/22) … Swept through the ULM Beach Invitational (4/1-4/2/22) while teamed with Elder on court five, defeating Mary Hardin-Baylor’s Aliana Rojas and Hannah Frasca, 2-0 (21-18, 21-15), Central Arkansas’ Anna Collums and Ryenne Gepford, 2-0 (21-11, 21-11), New Orleans’ Liz Gialanella and Vujnovich, 2-0 (21-19, 21-14), and Southeastern’s Mabry Ward and Eryn Wilks, 2-1 (21-18, 21-23, 15-13) … Won a pair of matches with Elder on court five on the first day of the Fight in the Fort (3/18/22), defeating New Orleans’ Serena Baumgart and Gialanella, 2-0 (21-18, 24-22), and Stephen F. Austin’s Suzana de Oliveria and Callie Neumann, 2-0 (21-17, 21-14) … Paired with Black for two wins at the Houston Baptist Invitational, defeating New Orleans’ Hailey Melerine and Tara Goolsby, 2-1, (17-21, 21-14, 15-5), and Southeastern’s Ward and Jackie McGee, 2-1 (20-22, 21-19, 15-13), on court five (2/25-2/26/22).
2021 (FRESHMAN)
Bufkin teamed with Elizabeth Moreland to notch 11 victories, the fourth-most of any ULM beach volleyball pair during the 2021 season ... all 11 wins by the pair came as the Warhawks’ No. 4 seed … they managed to record six two-set victories and five three-set wins during the course of the slate ... the first win by the pair came against Spring Hill’s Natalie Bonner and Leanne Sorrel by scores of 21-17, 17-21, 15-11 on March 5 at the Bayou Beach Duals … followed that with a second three-set triumph, this time over TaylorLynn Noga and Macie Satterwhite of Texas A&M-Kingsville by margins of 14-21, 21-15, 15-13 ... Bufkin and Moreland claimed their first CCSA win of the slate on March 11th with a 21-13, 21-18 win over Tori Penick and Pamela Jaime of Missouri State ... they continued to roll through March, earning a 21-16, 18-21, 22-20 win over Central Arkansas’ tandem of Julia Oravec and Kelsie Sager at the ULM Beach Invitational ... the following day, Bufkin and Moreland posted wins over New Orleans and Southeastern Louisiana, helping the Warhawks earn their third straight win—the longest winning streak of the season … tandem of Bufkin and Moreland notched their final three-set win of the season against Stephen F. Austin’s tandem of Xariah Williams and Suzana De Oliveria at the Fight at the Fort on March 19th … closed out the month of March with three two-set wins, including a 21-8, 21-18 victory again against CCSA foe Missouri State, defeating the tandem of Penick and Jaime on March 25th.
