Competed in four meets … Earned Third-Team All-Sun Belt Conference recognition after finishing third in the heptathlon with 5,136 points, including an indoor personal-best in the pole vault, clearing 13-10.5 (4.23 meters), while also placing eighth in the high jump at 6-4.25 (1.94 meters) at the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships (Feb. 20-21) … Set an indoor personal best in the high jump, clearing 6-6.75 (2.00 meters) at the Samford Bulldog Open (Feb. 11) … Finished second in the heptathlon with 5,133 points, setting indoor personal records in the 60 meters (7.22), 1000 meters (2:56.67) at the Vanderbilt Invitational (Jan. 21) … Set indoor personal bests in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.50 and the long jump at 23-5.5 (7.15 meters) at the LSU Purple Tiger (Jan. 13).

Competed in seven outdoor meets as a multi-event athlete as a true freshman … At the Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Championships, placed 12th in the long jump at 22-5, 13th in the javelin at 152-8 and did not record a height in the high jump (May 12-14) … Set his personal-best in the long jump to place fifth at 23-1 3/4 while also placing seventh in the high jump at 6-3 1/2 at the Mississippi State Maroon and White Invitational (April 29-30) … Set a personal best and picked up his first collegiate win in the high jump at 6-8 1/4, set a personal best and placed fourth in the pole vault at 13-2 1/2 and placed fourth in the javelin at 162-0 at the Warhawk Classic (April 22-23) … Set his personal best in the 100 meters in 11.39 at the Joe Walker Invitational (April 8-9) … Placed third in the high jump at 6-4 1/4, ninth in the javelin at 149-2 and set a personal best in the discus at 112-5 at the LSU Battle On The Bayou (April 2) … Placed seventh in the high jump at 6-6 3/4 and earned a personal best in the 400 in 53.79 at the Texas State Bobcat Invitational (March 24-26) … At the Louisiana Classic, placed fifth in the high jump at 6-4 3/4 and eighth in the javelin with a personal best of 163-1 (March 18-19).

Competed in two indoor meets as a true freshman as a multi-event athlete … Set two personal bests in his first collegiate meet, finishing ninth in the shot put at 42-2 and finished the 60 meters in 7.41 at the Ted Nelson Invitational (Jan. 14).
