ULM Warhawks

2012-13 (Sophomore):

Spring: Second on the team with 15 wins... all 19 matches were played on the No. 3 singles... opened the season with a six-match win streak and also closed the season with five consecutive victories... defeated Jackson State's Laura Rojas 6-0, 6-0... routed Sun Belt foe Gabby Crofford of Western Kentucky 6-0, 6-1... followed that up with a 6-1, 6-0 win against Elanor Grossman (Southern Miss) was also a brisk 11-2 in doubles play, her partner for every match being Petra Horakova... that included 8-1 wins over Nicholls State and Southern Miss... the duo also shut out Alcorn State with an 8-0 decision.

Fall: In her first action of the fall, went 2-0 in Flight B Singles including a 12-10 tiebreaker over Natalie Petaia from Sam Houston State for the second victory... was unable to play championship match due to event being called because of rain... teamed up with Medy Blankvoort in doubles to win the back draw of Flight A Doubles... went 3-0 in Flight Two Singles at Lady Demon Invite to advance to final but weather cut the event short... teamed up with Blankvoort at Lady Demon Invite in Flight One Doubles and went 1-1... went 1-2 in singles at ITA Regional Championships and 1-2 with Blankvoort in doubles... won Green Draw Singles at Southern Miss Halloween Classic going 2-0 following a by and then teamed up with Justyna Krol to go 1-2 in White Draw Doubles.

2011-12 (Freshman):

Spring: Finished the spring with an 11-5 including a 1-2 mark in Sun Belt action... went 3-2 at No. 2 singles, 4-3 at No. 3 singles, 3-0 at No. 4 singles and 1-0 at No. 5 singles... paired with fellow freshman Sophie Rufyikiri for doubles and went 12-5 including 2-1 in conference... the duo went 6-4 at No. 1 doubles, 5-1 at No. 2 doubles and 1-0 at No. 3 doubles... won her first five matches of her career, with all but one coming in straight-sets... won her first round match over Western Kentucky at the Sun Belt Conference Tournament (6-0, 6-2) and won her doubles match, 8-5.

Prior to ULM:
Played under the direction of head coach Tibor Krta... ranked in the top-20 in Europe for U16... ranked in the top-15 in Slovakia for U18.

Full name Silvia Tumova... born April 29, 1993... daughter of Milan and Henrieta... has an older brother, Patrik (23) and a younger sister, Lucia (10)... majoring in Biology.
