FRESHMAN (2019): Competed in 10 meets throughout the course of her first year at the Warhawks … made her collegiate debut in the Ted Nelson Invitatonal (Jan. 11), placing 38th in the 200-meter dash … crossed the line of the 400-meter hurdles in fourth, posting a time of 1:06.26, at the McNeese Louisiana Challenge (March 9) … followed that with a seventh-place outing in the Al Schmidt Bulldog Relays (March 22) with a mark of 1:04.22 … picked up a ninth-place finish at the Southern Miss Open (April 26) with a time of 1:05.40 … ended the season at the Sun Belt Outdoor Championship (May 10), placing 10th in the 400 meter hurdles (1:04.26). 

PREP: Attended Hahnville High School in Hahnville, La. … a two-sport athlete who earned a combined eight varsity letters in cheer (four) and track (four) … earned the district championship in the 300 meter hurdles for the first time as a sophomore … grabbed district and regional championship in 300 meter hurdles as a junior, finishing third place in the state championships … ended her career as the district and regional champion in the 300 meter hurdles, earning state championship runner-up honors as a senior … competed as part of the 4x400 meter and 4x200 meter state championship team, finishing runner-up in both events … earned All-American status as a cheerleader. 

PERSONAL: Ashlyn Briana Jack … born Oct. 11, 2000 … daughter of Kenya and Terrence Jack … has three sisters (A’yauna, Aspen and Amari) … a Delta Sorority scholar and member of Beta Club, Student Council and Spanish Honor Society, where she served as the treasurer … majoring in nursing.
