Chris Manuele was added to the University of Louisiana Monroe's track & field coaching staff in the fall of 2024.

Before joining ULM, Manuele was an Assistant Track and Field Coach at San Francisco State University (July 2021 - September 2024), where he focused on jumps and multi-events for women. Under his guidance, the team set school records in both indoor and outdoor pole vault, produced 26 CCAA Conference scorers, and achieved 5 NCAA II National Qualifiers and 2 NCAA II All-Americans. His strategic planning also contributed to an impressive average of 37 conference points per season in jumps and multi-events.
 
From August 2019 to July 2021, Manuele excelled as the lead coach for Women's Sprints, Hurdles, and Relays at the University of San Francisco. His tenure was marked by setting 5 school records and achieving 26 Top-5 All-Time performances in sprints and hurdles.
 
Earlier in his career, Manuele made significant contributions at Boise State University (August 2018 - August 2019), where he led coaching efforts in vertical jumps and assisted with sprints, hurdles, and horizontal jumps. His impact included 7 Top-5 performances, 21 All-Mountain West Conference athletes, and 3 NCAA West Preliminary Qualifiers, including one in the men's pole vault. At Southern Oregon University (September 2015 - June 2018), they led all jumping disciplines, set 9 school records, and established 2 conference records in the men's 100m and men's long jump. He also played a key role in achieving 2 Cascade Collegiate Conference team championships, producing 21 individual Cascade Collegiate Conference champions, and guiding 23 athletes to NAIA National qualifications, including 11 NAIA All-Americans.
 
Manuele began his coaching journey at Cuesta Community College (August 2014 - May 2015), where he led the pole-vaulting efforts. During this time, he developed two athletes to qualify for the California State Meet and one of them a standout athlete who became a California Community College state champion, breaking both the state meet record and the state record in the women's pole vault.
 
Manuele holds a master's degree in Exercise Science and a range of advanced certifications that underscore their expertise and commitment to athlete development. These certifications include USATF Level 1 Certification, NASE Certified, Level 2 Speed Specialist, and USTFCCCA Strength and Conditioning Coach Certification. Additionally, Manuele has earned the USTFCCCA Jumps Specialist Certification, USTFCCCA Performance Nutrition for Track and Field, and USTFCCCA 504: Advanced Endorsement in Horizontal Jumps. He also holds an ALTIS Coaching the High Jump certification.
