Competed in seven meets, mostly in the pole vault … Finished 11th by clearing 15-1.5 (4.61 meters) at the Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships (May 11) … Set a personal-best time in the 100 meters of 11.68 at the Warhawk Classic (April 22) … Took third in the pole vault, clearing 15-3 (4.65 meters) at the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational (April 15) … Set an outdoor personal best in the pole vault, clearing 15-10 (4.83 meters) at the Joe Walker Invitational (April 8).
2023 INDOOR (SENIOR)
Competed in the pole vault in three meets … Finished ninth at the Vanderbilt Invitational, clearing 14-7.25 (4.45 meters).
2022 OUTDOOR (JUNIOR)
Competed in seven outdoor meets … Set a personal best in the pole vault, clearing 15-9 1/4 to place sixth at the Mississippi State Maroon and White Invitational (April 29-30) … Took 12th in the pole vault at 15-4 1/4 at the Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Championships (May 12-14) … Won the pole vault at 15-2 1/4 at the Warhawk Classic (April 22-23) … Placed eighth in the pole vault, clearing 15-1 3/4 at the Joe Walker Invitational (April 8-9) … Finished third in the pole vault at 15-5 3/4 at the LSU Battle On The Bayou (April 2) … Claimed fifth in the pole vault, clearing 15-1 1/2 at the Louisiana Classic (March 18-19).
2022 INDOOR (JUNIOR-2)
Competed in six indoor meets … Placed sixth at the Samford Bulldog Open (Feb. 12) in the pole vault, clearing 14-6 … Finished runner-up in the pole vault at 15-1 at the McNeese Indoor and Multi (Jan. 28-29) … Took fifth in the pole vault, clearing 15-3, at the Vanderbilt Invitational (Jan. 21-22).
2021 OUTDOOR (SOPHOMORE-2)
Had six Top-10 finishes in the pole vault throughout the course of the 2021 outdoor season … enjoyed his best finish, third, at the Leon Johnson Northwestern State Invitational (April 24), where he reached 4.75 meters … was fifth at the Louisiana Classics (March 21), clearing 4.61 meters along the way … ended the season with a sixth-place finish at the Mississippi State Maroon & White Invitational (May 1) by clearing 4.72 meters.
2021 INDOOR (JUNIOR-1)
Took part in his first meet of the season on January 31 when he took part in the Scarlet & Black Invitational, finishing 19th in the long jump after reaching 20-feet, 4-inches (6.21 meters).
2020 OUTDOOR (SOPHOMORE-1)
Season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
2020 INDOOR (SOPHOMORE)
Opened the season at the Ted Nelson Invitational (Jan. 17) where he placed 13th in the pole vault after clearing 4.26 meters … came through with a seventh-place finish at the Samford Invitational (Feb. 15), reaching 4.40 meters in the process.
2019 OUTDOOR (FRESHMAN)
Began the outdoor season by finishing fourth in the pole vault at the McNeese Louisiana Challenge (March 9) with a mark of 15-feet, ¼-inches … picked up his fifth Top-10 of the season in the pole vault at the Louisiana Classics (March 16) with a mark of 4.33 meters … claimed his sixth Top-10 of the slate in the pole vault at the Carl Kight Invitational (April 5) after a mark of 4.28 meters … competed in the long jump at the Southern Miss Open (April 26), placing 23rd along the way, as he came through with a leap of 6.10 meters … closed out the campaign at the Sun Belt Outdoor Championship (May 10) as he finished 12th in the pole vault after a mark of 4.48 meters.
2019 INDOOR (FRESHMAN)
Made his collegiate debut at the Ted Nelson Invitational (Jan. 11), where he was 14th in the pole vault after clearing 13-feet, 8.5 inches … emerged with an eighth-place performance in the Texas Tech Classic (Jan. 26) after posting a mark of 4.48 meters in the pole vault … enjoyed his best finish of the season, second, at the Samford Bulldog Open (Feb. 9) after a leap of 14-feet, 11-inches … followed that up with a ninth-place outing in the pole vault at the Sun Belt Indoor Championships (Feb. 18) after a mark of 15-feet, 4.25-inches.
PREP
Attended Pearland High School … two-sport athlete who played football and ran track … earned four letters in track, winning all-district on four occasions, all-region three times and all-state once during his career … opened his career by clearing 12-feet, 3-inches in the pole vault, setting a freshman record … named as the Most Valuable Player of the track team, was the district champion and recorded a leap of 13-feet, 9-inches as a sophomore … closed out his junior season by being named all-region, team Most Valuable Player and extending himself 15-feet in pole vault … named all-state, team Most Valuable Player and was responsible for a 15-feet, 6-inch mark in pole vault … earned two letters in football, recording three blocked punts along the way … recognized as Defensive Most Valuable Player, first team all-district (outside linebacker) and district Most Valuable Player (special teams).
