2023 OUTDOOR (FRESHMAN)
Competed in six meets as a true freshman … Placed 15th in the discus with a throw of 146-9 (44.73 meters) at the Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships (May 12) … Won the discus with a personal-best throw of 152-9 (46.55 meters) and also had an outdoor personal-best heave of 45-1.5 (13.75) in the shot put at the Warhawk Classic (April 22) … Set a personal best in the hammer with a throw of 142-2 (43.34 meters) at the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational (April 15).
2023 INDOOR (FRESHMAN)
Competed in four meets as a true freshman … Placed 12th in the weight throw with a toss of 48-0.75 (14.65 meters) at the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships (Feb. 21) … Had a personal best performance in the weight throw with a heave of 50-4.75 (15.36 meters) at the Samford Bulldog Open (Feb. 11) … Set an indoor personal best in the shot put with a throw of 43-1.75 (13.15 meters) at the LSU Purple Tiger (Jan. 13).
RIVER VALLEY HS
Three-year varsity letterwinner for River Valley Blackhawks, graduating in 2022 … As a senior in 2022, finished fifth in the state in the discus, setting the RVHS school record with a throw of 162-5, while winning 10 of 12 meets on the season, claiming outdoor conference, regional and sectional championships in the discus … Increased his shot put personal record as a senior to 49-5 1/2, finishing as outdoor conference and regional champion before placing fifth at sectionals, and set indoor shot put record at RVHS … As a junior in 2021, finished fifth in the discus at state in his first season throwing discus at the varsity level, while adding a second-place finish at regionals and fourth-place finish at sectionals … Threw 41-7 in the shot put as a junior while battling a finger injury … Sophomore season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic … As a freshman in 2019, set a personal best in the shot put of 39-0 1/2 … Three-year varsity letterwinner in football, playing offensive line … Was First-Team All-Conference as a senior and Second-Team All-Conference as a junior …Named WIAA Academic All-State in football in 2021, and was a three-time SWC Conference Math Competition Champion.
