May 11	2019	Long Jump	7.62m	Sun Belt Outdoor Championship

SENIOR (2019): Competed in 11 meets over the course of the season … opened her Warhawk career at the Texas Tech Classic (Jan. 26), finishing seventh in the long jump (7.28 meters) … reached the podium at the LSU Bayou Bengal (Feb. 1), placing third as he leapt for 23-feet, 11-inches … followed that by capturing the title in the long jump at the Samford Bulldog Open (Feb. 9) with a mark of 23-feet, 5 ½-inches … closed out the Sun Belt Indoor Championship (Feb. 18) with a leap of 24-feet, 3 ½-inches, resulting in a third-place finish … began the outdoor slate by closing the long jump (7.35 meters) of the Louisiana Classics (March 16) in second … snagged fourth in the long jump (24-feet, 2 ¼-inches) of the Al Schmidt Bulldog Relays (March 22) … was eighth at the Texas State Bobcat Invitational (March 29) with a leap of 7.36 meters … ran her Top-10 finish streak to eight straight as he was fourth in the long jump (7.19 meters) of the LSU Alumni Gold (April 20) … was third in the long jump at both the Southern Miss Open (7.44 meters) and Sun Belt Outdoor Championship (7.62 meters) … participated in the NCAA East Preliminaries (May 23), finishing 26th in the process, as he had a leap of 7.24 meters in the long jump. 

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Attended University of College Cork where he placed second in varsity long jump events both as a freshman and sophomore. 

PREP: Attended Carrigeline Community School in Ireland … a three-sport athlete who also played rugby (five letters), soccer (five letters) and track (six letters) … competed in multiple events over the course of hee freshman season … Irish junior record holder in the Long jump (24-feet 8.5 inches), 110m hurdles (14.11), 60m hurdles (7.89) … took part in long jump and hurdles, placing fifth in European Juniors.     

PERSONAL: Sam Healy … born Dec. 19, 1996 … son of Paula and Gar Healy … has one brother (Marley) … majoring in psychology.
