2022 TRACK (FRESHMAN)
Competed in five indoor and five outdoor meets … Set a personal-best in the 1000 meters in 2:35.82 to place eighth at the Vanderbilt Invitational (Jan. 21) … Placed fifth at the LSU Bayou Bengal (Feb. 4) in the 800 in 2:00.87 … Was part of the fourth-place distance medley relay in 10:09.67 and finished 10th in the 800 (1:55.10) and 20th in the 3000 (8:53.30) at the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championship (Feb. 21-22) … Opened his outdoor season with a pair of fourth place finishes, coming in the 800 (1:51.95) and the 1500 (3:50.83, a personal best) at the LSU Battle on the Bayou (April 2) … Won the 1500 in 3:55.33 and was second in the 800 in 1:55.57 at the Warhawk Classic (April 22-23) … Finished second in the 800 in 1:52.00 and fifth in the 1500 in 3:51.66 at the Mississippi State Maroon and White Invitational (April 29-30) … Competed in two events at the Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Championship (May 12-14), finishing seventh in the 1500 in 3:55.08 and ninth in the 800 in 1:53.66.
2021 CROSS COUNTRY (FRESHMAN)
Sat out the 2021 season after transferring from Middle Tennessee.
MIDDLE TENNESSEE
Competed in two cross country and track seasons at Middle Tennessee…As a sophomore in 2020-21, he competed in two events in cross country, setting a personal best of 24:55.8 in the 8K at the Blazer Classic while finishing 14th at the Conference USA Cross Country Championship…In indoor track, he was part of the fifth-place team in the distance medley relay and 13th in the 800 meters at the C-USA Indoor Championship…In his first outdoor season, he set personal bests in the 800 (1:51.24), 1500 (3:52.94) and 5000 (14:55.97) while placing fifth in the 800 at the C-USA Outdoor Championship…As a freshman in 2019-20, he competed in two events in cross country, finishing 19th at the Brooks Twilight Classic with a four-mile time of 21:16.02 and had a personal-best in the 8K of 28:06.1 at the Commodore Classic…In the indoor track season, he competed in six of eight meets, recording a personal-best time in the 3000 of 8:34.21 at the Music City Challenge and a personal-best in the mile at 4:19.08 at the Jim Green Invitational…Also placed second in the DMR at the UAB Green and Gold Invitational in 10:10.9…NCAA Indoor Championship and the outdoor season were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
