Personal: Born May 5, 1995 in Kericho, Kenya... came to ULM after living in Eldoret, Kenya... son of Paul and Ruth Mutai... the youngest of four siblings; two brothers, Kipkoech Japther and Kipngetich Shadrack, and one sister Chepkorir Mercy... went to high school at Kabartegan HS and competed in Kenya Secondary Schools competitions... most notable prep performance was a second-place finish at the University of Kabianga Culture Invitational... majoring in agribusiness
