2021-22 (SOPHOMORE-2)
Went 13-9 in singles play and 10-14 in doubles action, mainly competing on courts one and two … Began the season with a third-place finish in the Gold Bracket at the Warhawk Invitational (Sept. 10-11), picking up wins over Samford’s Alyssa Hayduk (7-5, 6-0) and Southeastern’s Putri Insani (6-2, 6-3) while teaming with Giovanna Pereira to go 2-1 in doubles action for fifth place … Won all three of her matches at the LA Tech Invitational (Nov. 6), defeating Louisiana Tech’s Leonie Schuknecht (6-1, 7-6) and Olga Bienzobas (6-2, 2-6, 1-0 [3]) while teaming with Brianna Gomez to defeat Bienzobas and Najah Dawson (7-5) in doubles … Opened dual season with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Grambling’s Brittney Combest on court one while also teaming with Alessandra Anghel for a 6-3 win over Lungile Ntuli and Claire Machisa in doubles (Jan. 22) … Moved to 2-0 in the dual schedule with a 7-6 (4-2), 7-6 (6-4) win over Houston’s Laura Slisane (Jan. 28) … Swept Nicholls’ Simona Maksimovic 6-3, 6-0, on court two and paired with Anghel for a 6-0 win over Sophia Safarova and Jessie Mount on court one (Feb. 5) … Posted a 6-3, 6-4, win over New Orleans’ Ank Vullings on court two (Feb. 19) … Swept Central Arkansas’ Xin Chunxi, 7-5, 6-1, on court one (March 5) … Opened Sun Belt Conference play with a 6-2, 6-3, win on court one over Troy’s Anastasiia Khokhlova while pairing with Jimena Paula Garbino for a 6-2 win over Olivia Elliott and Franziska Ahrend (March 12) … Moved to 2-0 in SBC play with a 6-0, 6-3, victory against South Alabama’s Yu Fujioka (March 13) … Remained unbeaten in SBC singles play with a 6-2, 6-4, win over UL Lafayette’s Catarina Zheng on court one while also earning a 6-2 win with Garbino over Angel Santiago and Nikol Dobrilova on court three (March 18) … Improved to 4-0 in SBC singles action with a 6-0, 6-1, win against Arkansas State’s Thea Rice on court one (March 20).
2021 (SOPHOMORE-1)
Opened the season at the Central Arkansas Fall Invitational (Sept. 18-19), suffering a trio of setbacks to Jessie Young (Chattanooga), Maja Gledic (Central Arkansas) and Taylor Shaw (Missouri State) … rebounded to claim six straight singles wins … claimed her first singles victory of the season with a 6-2, 6-4 win against Christina Jordan (Louisiana-Lafayette) and a 6-2, 6-7, 6-3 triumph against Clara Mantaux (Louisiana-Lafayette) in the Warhawk Invitational (Oct. 16-17) … followed that with a 6-2, 7-6 win over teammate Drousile Dzebou at the Warhawk Invitational … capped off the month of October with a series of wins in the Louisiana Tech Invitational (Oct. 31-Nov. 1) … began the tournament in Ruston, La., with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Hunter Roper (Arkansas State) … ran her streak to five matches with a 6-4, 6-0 win versus Floraine Picaut (Louisiana-Lafayette) … posted a 7-5, 7-5 victory in the final match of the Louisiana Tech Invitational against Leonie Schuknecht (Louisiana Tech) … opened the spring slate by facing Rouxanne Janse Van Rensburg (Samford), who claimed a 7-6, 6-4 win  … faced Bianca Vitale (Lamar) and endured a three-set match before Vitale emerged 3-6, 7-5, 7-5 … took on fellow No. 1 seed Paula Cerda (Stephen F. Austin) on February 9, who earned the 6-3, 6-2 win … posted her first doubles win of the season at the Central Arkansas Fall Invitational (Sept. 18-19) when she and teammate Daniela Hernandez defeated Mara Prescot/Mary Houston (Missouri State) by an 8-4 margin … joined teammate Jimena Paula Garbino at the Warhawk Invitational and came through with a 6-1 victory over Danna Galeano/Mikaila Coleman (Grambling State) … laid claim to her third doubles win of the slate against at the Louisiana Tech Invitational when she paired with Madalina Grigoriu to take down Clara Mantaux/Isabella Kierkegaard (Louisiana-Lafayette) … teamed with Oleksandra Balaba in a doubles match against Samford’s No. 1 seeded tandem of Cindy Oest/Rouxanne Janse Van Rensburg, who emerged with a 7-5 win … joined Balaba in doubles action to come through with a 6-3 victory over Bianca Vitale/Natalia Molina (Lamar) on February 7th … played her third doubles match with Badwy at her side, against Zala Ule/Ai Noa Fabre (Stephen F. Austin), but the match was unfinished … responsible for five singles wins during the course of the season … earned her first of the season at Louisiana Tech (Feb. 24) with a 3-6, 6-0, 6-2 win against Leonie Schukencht … followed with a 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 victory against Clara Mantaux (UL-Lafayette) on March 3 … claimed her third straight victory in 6-1, 6-0 fashion over Tangia Riley-Covington (Alcorn State) on March 6 … capped off March play with series of victories, the first of which came (6-1, 6-1) against Mariella Minetti (Northwestern State) … posted her final singles win of the regular season (6-4, 6-1) over Hunter Roper (Arkansas State) … notched her first win of the spring slate in doubles play, alongside partner Oleksandra Balaba, against Alcorn State (March 6) as the pair defeated Tangia Riley-Codrington and Kimberley Kaome by a 6-0 score … added a second 6-0 victory over the weekend, downing I. Mora and Brittney Combest (Grambling State) the following afternoon … ended the regular season on a five-match winning streak, which began with a 6-2 victory over Polina Akimova and Nanaka Takeuchi (UT-Arlington) on March 16 … added a  6-4 win over Clara Mantaux and Floriane Picaut (UL-Lafayette) on March 22 … earned a 6-4 win at Northwestern State (March 23) by defeating Mariella Minetti and Greta Wallin … put together a 6-2 victory at Arkansas State (March 28) with a win over Thea Rice and Hunter Roper … ended the regular season by earning a 6-2 decision over Thea Rice and Hunter Roper (Arkansas State) … opened the Sun Belt Conference Tournament with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Angel Carney (Georgia State) in singles action … picked up a doubles point alongside teammate Oleksandra Balaba in clash with Georgia State’s Ellie Aldrich and Andreea Stanescu in a 7-5 decision on April 15th … capped off the season with the fourth-most singles wins (12), earning three as No. 1 seed and three as the No. 2 seed … the tandem of Badwy and Balaba were responsible for the second-most doubles wins (nine) of any Warhawk pair on the season, all coming from the No. 1 seed.Â
NORTH TEXAS
Opened her collegiate career with an 8-4 record in singles in dual matches while playing at the No. 2, 3 and 4 positions ... Her eight dual-match singles wins ranked second on the team ... Went 7-5 while playing No. 1 doubles, including 6-1 against region opponents.
INDIVIDUAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Attained a career-best Junior ITF World Ranking of 157 ... No. 1 ranked player in Egypt for all age groups ... Placed third in singles and doubles at the U18 African Junior Championship in 2018 ... Finalist in singles and placed third in doubles at the U16 African Junior Championship in 2016 ... Won both the singles and doubles at the African Youth Olympic Games and twice qualified for the Junior World Cup.
