Brady Stephens

Brady Stephens arrived at ULM in the fall of 2024 as the Director of Olympic Strength and Conditioning.
 
Since being at ULM, Brady has stepped into his role as the Director of Olympic Strength and Conditioning by supervising Olympic strength and conditioning coaches, coordinating effective training schedules and overseeing the development of all Olympic sports.
 
Prior to ULM, Brady gained experience and knowledge from multiple coaches and universities. Most recently, Stephens was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach with the U.S. Army in Fairbanks Alaska from the fall of 2023 to the summer of 2024.
 
Before his time in Alaska, Stephens was the Assistant Sports Performance Coach at the University of Evansville from fall of 2022 to the fall of 2023 where he programmed and trained seven Olympic sports including baseball, women’s soccer, swimming and diving, men’s and women’s golf and track throwers.
 
Stephens completed a graduate assistantship at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) from the fall of 2021-22 where he trained rifle, cheer, injured football athletes, injured soccer athletes, and assisted with softball. He was an intern at the University of Iowa during the spring of 2021 and assisted with Iowa Football strength and conditioning. Stephens coached future NFL athletes and worked on speed mechanics with Hawkeye athletes. He began his strength & conditioning coaching career at TCU in the fall of 2020 as an intern and assisted with the developmental group for baseball, football, women’s basketball, equestrian, swim and dive, and women’s soccer.
 
Stephens earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Peru State College, master’s degree in leadership studies from UTEP, and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as well as CPR/AED certified.
