Kat Nixon, MS, LAT, ATC, is a board-certified athletic trainer with experience in collegiate athletics, adapted athletics and performance training. They specialize in injury prevention, rehabilitation and return-to-play progression, working closely with physicians, coaches and athletes to support both performance and long-term health.
They have provided comprehensive care for Division I student-athletes through clinical experiences with programs including Alabama Women’s Basketball, Alabama Volleyball, Alabama Adapted Athletics and Richmond Men’s and Women’s Basketball.
Nixon holds a Master of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Sport Coaching from Auburn University. In addition to their athletic training background, they are certified in corrective exercise, sports nutrition and basic life support.Â
