Simon Pflum joined ULM Athletics as General Manager and Compliance Coordinator in 2026, bringing a unique blend of expertise in revenue sharing, Name, Image and Likeness (NIL), roster strategy, contract negotiations and NCAA compliance. In his role, Pflum leads ULM’s institutional revenue sharing and NIL strategy while serving as the department’s primary compliance administrator. He works alongside sport-specific general managers, coaches and campus leadership to position Warhawk Athletics for success in the evolving landscape of college athletics.
Pflum arrives in Monroe after establishing himself as one of the emerging leaders in collegiate athlete representation and NIL management. As founder and managing partner of TPG Sports, he represented collegiate student-athletes across the country, negotiating millions of dollars in revenue sharing and NIL agreements while advising athletes on long-term professional opportunities. He is also an NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor.
Prior to founding TPG Sports, Pflum served as executive director of The Kingdom NIL at the University of Central Florida, where he directed all collective operations, including budgeting, fundraising, contract negotiations, strategic planning and athlete compensation initiatives. Before being named executive director, he served as director of athlete management, negotiating millions in NIL agreements while managing relationships with more than 200 student-athletes representing every UCF athletic program.
Pflum’s background also includes nearly five years in Division I football operations. He served as assistant director of football operations and assistant to the head coach at UCF, where he managed day-to-day operational responsibilities including team travel, budgeting, recruiting logistics, scheduling, and administrative operations. He began his collegiate athletics career with the Arkansas football program, serving in football operations throughout his undergraduate career before joining the Razorbacks full-time.
His experience across football operations, athlete representation, NIL administration, compliance and revenue strategy provides a comprehensive understanding of the modern collegiate athletics model.
Pflum earned a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Sport Management from the University of Arkansas and a Master of Arts in Executive Leadership from Liberty University.
