Mylonas Receives All-Sun Belt Honors

NEW ORLEANS - The Sun Belt Conference has announced that ULM freshman Tiffany Mylonas earned a spot on the league's second team for her performance over the year.

The Brussels, Belgium, native is the fifth Warhawk to earn such distinction in the last three years. Petra Horakova made it each of the previous two years, while Medy Blankvoort (2014) and Sophie Rufyikiri (2015) also completed the club.

Mylonas finished 17-3 on the spring with a 26-8 record for the year. Her and Luana Stanciu also combined for a team-best 11-3 doubles record, the most wins for a ULM pairing since 2013.

ULM played with an all-freshman lineup throughout the whole season, finishing 13-6-1. That win total has been reached or surpassed in five of the last six years. The squad was ranked as high as No. 72 nationally by the ITA.
