MONROE, La.?Calvin Dawson is a
familiar name to those who follow Sun Belt Conference football, now the name of
ULM's senior
running back is beginning to hit the national circuit.
Dawson currently ranks sixth in the nation
in rushing (134.0) and has rushed for over 100 yards in
10 consecutive games. The streak, which
includes games against five BCS conference teams, is the longest active
streak in the nation.

each of the three major sports websites has had something to say about Dawson:
On Monday,
the Bossier City, La., native was featured in the Who's Hot
list on FoxSports.com.
On Tuesday,
Pat Forde of ESPN.com named Dawson
as the best player in the Sun Belt at the midway point of the season.
