NEW ORLEANS ? The ULM baseball
game against South Alabama at Warhawk Field on May 2 will be televised live on Comcast/Charter
Sports Southeast and Cox Sports Television. The game is one of four regular
season Sun Belt games to be televised this season ? the tournament championship
game on May 23 will also be televised.
“This is a tremendous opportunity
to showcase the University and our baseball program across the Southeast,” ULM
head coach Jeff Schexnaider said. “We have some of the best fans in the country
and a great gameday atmosphere that we are excited to share with the country.”
The game will start at 3 p.m., an hour earlier than ULM's normal 4 p.m. start
time on Saturdays.
This will be the second straight season
that ULM and South Alabama will play on CSS/CST. Last season's Saturday game
between the two schools in Mobile, Ala., was also broadcast by the pair of networks.
