JACKSON, Miss. - The ULM volleyball team
captured their third win of the season with a 3-0 (25-21, 25-20, 27-25) victory
over Jackson State during their final non-conference match of the season Tuesday
night.
In the third set, ULM (3-15) found itself
down 25-24 before Mari O'Neal and Stephanie Wardach each smashed a kill to pull
the Warhawks in front 26-25. Facing match point, Christy Tribble served the
winning ace.
"This is the first time in a while that we
pulled together as a team when faced with adversity," ULM head coach John
Schmidt said. "We have grown and matured nicely thus far in the season."

ULM returns home for back-to-back Sun Belt Conference
matches on Friday at 7:00 p.m. against North Texas and on Saturday at 12:00
p.m. against Denver inside the ULM Activity Center.
