TULSA, Okla.-Oral Roberts scored three unanswered goals in
the second half and outshot ULM 27-2 for the match to defeat the Warhawks 4-1 in the opener of the Tulsa Invitational Tournament at the ORU Soccer Complex Friday
night.
After ORU (2-1) struck first in the seventh minute, ULM sophomore
forward Lindsey Tubbs tied the match with her third goal of the season in the
33rd minute off a pass from sophomore Kelly Browne. 
Lauren Parks scored the game-winner for the Golden Eagles
placing a header into the back of the net off a Maria Grados corner kick in the
62nd minute. Grados struck 10 minutes later with a strike from 10
yards out and Tara Lomas netted the final goal of the night in the 77th
minute.
ULM freshman keeper Alex Holland was under attack all
night facing 16 shots on goal in the game. Making just her second collegiate
start, Holland made 12 saves - six in each half.
The Warhawks (1-2) will look to regroup Sunday against
Tulsa at 5 p.m. in the tournament finale.
