ULM Football Happenings - Florida Atlantic Game
ULM plays host to Florida Atlantic on Saturday night in the 2010 Sun Belt Conference home opener. Kickoff between
the Warhawks and Owls is set for 6 p.m., but the action starts much earlier
than that. Below is the full schedule and list of promotions associated with
Saturday's game.
Saturday is also Military Day at Malone Stadium and fans in attendance will be treated to a variety of exciting events surrounding the United States Armed Forces. Each of the military branches will have interactive exhibits in front of Malone Stadium. In addition,
an Army Black Hawk helicopter will be parked outside the stadium and fans will
have an opportunity to get an up-close look at the helicopter and meet the
pilots.
The action moves inside Malone
Stadium at approximately 5:40 p.m. when skydivers will parachute into the
stadium with the game ball. The Sound of Today will
perform its "Salute to the Armed Forces" halftime show in which several active soldiers
will take part in a reenlistment ceremony.
