MONROE, La. - The ULM women's basketball team
is looking for a season sweep of Louisiana-Lafayette when it tips-off at 2 p.m.
on Saturday inside the Earl K. Long Gymnasium.

ULM (9-17, 3-13) is coming off a 58-51 defeat
to New Orleans on Wednesday. The Warhawks scored just seven points in the final
seven minutes, while the Lady Privateers sank 6-of-8 free throws in the final
35 seconds to pull away for the win. Priscilla Mbiandja paced ULM with 14
points, including 4-of-6 from the field and 6-of-7 from the foul line. She also
stole a game-high four passes.
Jesse Carrier leads the team with an 11.3 points
per game average, while Sannisha Williams is scoring 10.7 per contest, to go
along with a team-high 7.9 rebounds per game.
Louisiana-Lafayette (8-19, 3-12) is on a
seven game skid that includes an 87-58 loss to Arkansas State on Wednesday
night. The Ragin' Cajuns were led by Alexis Green's 23 points that included
four long balls. Jamie Gunter scored nine points and grabbed seven rebounds off
the bench. Mercedes Johnson leads the squad with a 14.3 points and 5.9 rebounds
per game average. Green is scoring 13.7 per game and has made a team-best 34
triples.
