MONROE, La.-ULM football head
coach Todd Berry has been reappointed to the American Football Coaches
Association Board of Trustees, a position he held from 2001-03. Berry is just
one of 18 head coaches from all levels of college football to sit on this
prestigious board.
"It was such an honor to serve
on the Board the first time and for my peers to vote me back on now that I am a
head coach again is extremely humbling," Berry said. "It is a privilege to sit
on this Board and represent football coaches across the country."
The Board
formulates policy and provides direction for the organization, which was
founded in 1922 by Amos Alonzo Stagg, John Heisman and others. The AFCA has
more than 11,000 members from all levels of the profession.
Berry was named ULM's 14th
head coach on Dec. 18, 2009, after three seasons as the offensive coordinator
at UNLV. A 27-year coaching veteran, Berry was ULM's offensive coordinator from
2004-05 and has coaching stops at Miami, East Carolina, Mississippi State,
Oklahoma State, Tulsa and Tennessee. Under his guidance the Warhawks won the 2005
Sun Belt Conference championship and quarterback Steven Jyles was named Sun
Belt Player of the Year.

of Mount Union College, first vice-president Rob Ash of Montana State
University, second vice-president Tim Murphy of Harvard University and third
