HAMMOND, La. - The ULM soccer team played to a 1-1 tie with Southeastern Louisiana on Friday afternoon at the SLU Soccer Complex. Both teams were held scoreless in two 10-minute overtime periods to result in the draw.

The match marked the fifth contest for ULM (2-6-1) that has been decided in overtime this season, with the Warhawks improving to 1-3-1 in those matches. Southeastern Louisiana (6-0-2) remained unbeaten on the season with just its second tie.

"With this being our last non-conference game, I feel really good about our team heading into conference play," ULM coach Stacy Lamb said. "Our girls are confident and playing hard right now."

ULM received a goal from senior midfielder Samantha Cashman in the 54th minute to take a 1-0 advantage. Senior midfielder Amy Porch delivered the assist for Cashman, who leads the Warhawks with three goals this season.

Southeastern Louisiana tied the match at 1-1 on a goal from Jaci Teresinski at the 86:17 mark. Lauren Stillians was credited with the assist on the play.

Southeastern finished with a slight 7-4 advantage in shots on goal for the match. ULM goalkeeper Alex Holland posted six saves to lead the Warhawks' defense.
