MONROE, La. – The ULM softball team was unable to get a hit off No. 24 UL-Lafayette's Ashley Brignac to fall 3-0 in game one of the Sun Belt Conference doubleheader Saturday afternoon at the ULM Softball Complex.

ULM's (27-24, 10-12 SBC) Brianna Love and Roxy Cassel were the only two Warhawks to reach base as both were walked once.

A six-time Sun Belt Pitcher of the Week, Brignac threw her sixth career no-hitter while striking out 13 batters to shutout the Warhawks.

Tiffany Mills (13-15) picked up the loss in the circle with the complete game performance as she allowed three earned runs on six hits while striking out four and walking three.

UL-Lafayette (43-9, 17-5 SBC) began work early in the first inning as Nerissa Myers led off with a walk and came around to third on a fielder's choice and fly out. A throwing error allowed Myer to score first followed by Christi Orgeron with a Sarah Draheim RBI single.

After a scoreless four innings Draheim came through again with two runners on base and two outs in the fifth inning when she nailed her second RBI single to plate Orgeron again and push the advantage to 3-0.

Draheim went 2-for-4 with two RBIs to lead the Ragin' Cajuns at bat while Orgeron scored two runs and Myers plated one.

The Warhawks will look to come back in game two of the doubleheader with first pitch scheduled for approximately 3:30 p.m.
