MONROE, La. - The ULM soccer team exploded for a 6-0 victory against Grambling Friday afternoon at the ULM Soccer Complex. The six goals scored is the most for the Warhawks since the 2005 season.

The Warhawks held a 20-4 shots advantage, including a 13-1 edge in shots on goal for the match. Sophomores Taylor Epperson and Alyssa Lopez each had a pair of goals in the match, while freshmen Taylor Bonetti and Alyssa Wooden each netted one goal for ULM.

The Warhawks got on the board in the third minute when freshman Bonetti dribbled past her defender and drilled a goal into the lower right portion of the net. The goal was Bonetti's fourth of the season.

Epperson scored the next two goals in a three-minute span to give the Warhawks a 3-0 advantage. Her first goal came on a shot from 20 yards out that snuck past the goalkeeper in the upper left corner at the 8:34 mark. Epperson scored again at the 11:20 mark off a cross from junior Kylie McIntyre.

Lopez rounded out the scoring in the first half with a shot from 20 yards out that found the left corner of the net at the 21:52 mark.

Wooden scored her team-leading fifth goal of the season in the 63rd minute on a feed from Lopez to make the score 5-0. Lopez finished off the scoring with her second goal of the match - in the 64th minute - off a feed from Bonetti.

Junior Alex Holland recorded the shutout with one save in her first action in goal this season.
