MONROE, La. - To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the school's national championship season, all ULM fans can make a $25 deposit on their 2012 football season ticket order before March 1 and immediately have a chance to win one of 25 fantastic prize packages.
The grand prize will allow two fans to "Fly with the Warhawks" to Florida International and will include airfare, lodging and two passes into the athletic director's suite for the game. Second prize will give two fans the ultimate gameday experience with all-access passes for a "behind-the-scenes" look, while third prize will provide a tailgating spot in the Pecan Grove for one home game. Other prizes include Skybox tickets to each of ULM's five home games with VIP parking, autographed memorabilia and team gear.
"Many of our fans remember the 1987 season, and it's certainly a significant moment in our school's and football program's history," director of athletics Bobby Staub said. "As we prepare for the 2012 season, remembering that time and honoring those players in some special ways will be a lot of fun."
ULM's 2012 home schedule will bring five opponents to Malone Stadium, including a first-ever matchup against nationally-ranked No. 12 Baylor on September 22. In Sun Belt Conference action, Louisiana-Lafayette, FAU, North Texas and South Alabama make trips to Monroe.
Season ticket packages start at only $50 and give a "hawk's eye view" from the Hawk's Nest on the East side of Malone Stadium. Families can take advantage of a Family-4-Pack in the lower bench area of section 107 and buy four (4) season tickets for $240 with additional season tickets available for $60 each. ULM faculty and staff members are eligible to receive a 20 percent discount off ticket prices, excluding the Hawk's Nest and family packages.
The limited number of available seats in the luxurious, recently renovated lower chairback section cost $150 each and requires a per-seat donation to the ULM Athletic Foundation (amount varies by section). Lower bench seating in sections 102-106 and upper chairbacks in sections 202-206 are available for $100, while a Frequent Flyer pass (valid for general admission to all ULM athletic events) can be purchased for $125.
