BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The ULM baseball team
officially clinched first place in Pool A of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament
with South Alabama's 5-3 win over Western Kentucky Wednesday night.
The Warhawks earned the first bid into Sunday's
Sun Belt Championship Game with a dramatic 9-7 walk-off win in 13 innings over
Florida Atlantic earlier in the day. ULM
moved to 2-0 in Pool A after Wednesday's win and a 7-4 decision in 10 innings
over South Alabama on Tuesday in the tournament's opening game.
ULM is off on Friday before facing tournament
host Western Kentucky Saturday night at Bowling Green Ballpark in the final
game of pool play. First pitch is
scheduled for 7 p.m.
