Saturday's game at ULM was the first time that Georgia State played a game in the state of Louisiana.
Saturday's meeting at Malone Stadium between ULM and Georgia State was the first meeting between the two programs… The Panthers are in their first season at the FBS level and the first as a member of the Sun Belt Conference.
Georgia State won the opening coin toss and deferred to the second half.

Centarius Donald's 69-yard run in the first quarter was the longest of his career… His previous high was a 57-yard rush during the 2011 season… With one minute to play until halftime, Donald tallied his second rushing TD of the season… His two-yard TD rush was the sixth of his career and gave ULM a 28-10 advantage.
Tony Cook recorded his first career TD reception with 9:10 to play in the first quarter… His four-yard reception from Kolton Browning gave ULM the early 7-0 lead.
Ajalen Holley recorded his first career pass completion with a 26 yard pass to Je'Ron Hamm on ULM's scoring drive that put ULM in front 14-0… It was also his first career attempt.
Ajalen Holley hauled in his second career TD reception on a seven-yard pitch and catch from Kolton Browning with four minutes to play in the first quarter.
Je'Ron Hamm caught his second TD of the season with 5:21 to play in the second quarter… His 19-yard reception from Browning was his 10th career TD reception… Hamm's TD gave ULM a 21-10 lead.
Harley Scioneaux grabbed his fourth TD pass of the season on a 24-yard pass from Kolton Browning… The TD reception that gave ULM a 38-10 lead with 1:58 to play in the third was the seventh of Scioneaux's career.
Mitch Lane recorded his second interception of the season in the first quarter… It was his third career interception.
Hunter Kissinger recorded his first career interception in the first quarter… In the second quarter he recorded his second interception of the night, marking the second straight game that ULM had a player record two interceptions.
Justin Manton connected on his fourth field goal of the season with a 36-yard FG with 9:51 remaining in the third quarter… Manton's successful FG attempt gave ULM a 31-10 lead.
