POST-GAME NOTES (vs. Western Kentucky, Oct. 3, 2013)

Western Kentucky Captains: QB Brandon Doughty, DB Jonathon Dowling, LB Andrew Jackson and DB Cam Thomas.

WKU won the opening coin toss and elected to receive the ball first.

WKU now leads the all-time series, 5-4, and it is the team's second straight win in Monroe.

Brayle Brown made his first career start Thursday night against WKU… It was his ninth career game played… Brown finished the game 21-of-40 for 275 yards and one interception.

Brayle Brown connected with Kenzee Jackson late in the first quarter for a 69-yard pass play… The 69-yard pass play is the longest pass of Brown's career and longest reception of Jackson's career… It is also the longest play of the season for the Warhawks.

Jyruss Edwards recorded his second TD rush and 23rd of his career with 33 seconds to play in the first quarter… Edwards is now in sole possession of third place in program history in rushing TDs.

Harley Scioneaux's reception of 23 yards in the second quarter was the longest of his career… He finished with a career high 29 receiving yards behind a career-best four receptions.

Centarius Donald's 28-yard run in the second quarter was his longest of the season… It is also his longest run since the 2011 season.

Justin Manton connected on his third FG of the season in the second quarter… His 34-yard FG cut the ULM deficit to four points (14-10) with 9:19 to play in the second quarter.

Cody Robinson recorded his first career sack in the third quarter on Thursday night.

Mitch Lane recorded his first interception of the season (second career) in the fourth quarter of the contest.

Cordero Smith tied a career-best with a game-high 12 tackles (seven solo, five asst) against WKU… Justin Backus set a career-high with eight tackles (seven solo, one asst).
