MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- Middle
Tennessee won its 14th straight game and seventh straight against ULM with an 87-46
victory over the Warhawks on Saturday inside the Murphy Center. It's the
largest margin of victory by either team in the series.
The Blue Raiders (25-4, 17-1 SBC) shot 52.6 percent and connected on 12 3-pointers on

Middle Tennessee players in double-digit scoring with 15 points and four
assists. Marcos Knight and Raymond
Cintron each finished with 11 points and Torin Walker chipped in 10 points.
Junior Amos Olatayo led the
Warhawks (4-20, 3-15 SBC) with 10 points and seven rebounds while sophomore Trey Lindsey added nine points and a team-high three assists.
Middle Tennessee scored the first 10 points of the game and used a 15-0
run midway through the opening half to build a 33-10 advantage and never looked
back. The Blue Raiders shot 60.9 percent and limited the Warhawks to just six field
goals in the opening half.
Walker capped a 7-0 run to the end the half with a putback dunk at the
buzzer to give the Blue Raiders a 46-15 lead at the break -- the largest
halftime deficit for the Warhawks this season.
Middle Tennessee continued its strong play in the second half and led
by as many as 51 points in the final minutes. ULM outscored Middle
Tennessee 14-4 in the final five minutes and finished the second half shooting
47.6 percent.
The Warhawks begin the final week of the regular season by hosting FIU
on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. inside Fant-Ewing Coliseum.
