GAME ONE - Northwestern

Friday. With the 4-2 defeat of the Warhawks, the Lady Demons extended their
winning streak to nine in a row.

game-winning knock.
Northwestern State got on the board early. The Lady Demons
had runners on second and third with one down. Brianna Rodriguez crushed a double to deep center to put NSU up
2-0. The Lady Demons had a chance to do more damage in the inning, but ULM sophomore
starter Haylie Wilson retired the
next two batters.
Senior right fielder Haley
McCall led off the second inning with a single and moved to second thanks
to some heads up base-running. McCall eventually scored on freshman designated
player Hope Mair's RBI sacrifice
fly. It was Mair's first collegiate RBI. The Warhawks tied the game on sophomore
center fielder Mackenzie Miller's
two-out RBI double.
