Crystal Steward and Nina Randle Named to Southland All-Decade Teams

MONROE, La. -- The Southland Conference continues to release its All-Decade Teams. ULM placed five on the 80's All-Decade Team and have added Crystal Steward and Nina Randle to the 90's and 00's teams.

Steward (1990-94), a 6-3 center, from Grand Prairie, Texas was named to the 1990's Southland All-Decade Team. Steward is sixth in program history with 1,386 points (12.2 per game) and ninth with 701 rebounds (6.1 per game). She is third in the record books with 147 career blocks (1.3 per game).

Steward was a two-time All-Southland First Team selection, in 1993 and 1994. She was named Southland Conference Player of the Week once and an All-Louisiana selection on two occasions. Steward collected Southland All-Tournament honors in 1994. She was named All-Tournament at the South Alabama Lady Jaguar Classic in 1992 and the Alaskan Northern Lights Invitational and Mississippi State Shootout in 1994.She led ULM to 70 wins in her four years including a 48-20 mark in Southland games under head coach Roger Stockton.

Randle (2001-05) is 10th in program history with 1,261 points (11.0 per game) and sixth with 782 rebounds (6.8 per game). In addition, she is fifth all-time with 116 blocks (1.0 per game). Randle was named All-Southland First Team in 2004 and 2005 and was a Second Team selection in 2003.

She collected Southland Player of the Week honors twice and All-Louisiana twice. Randle was named Southland All-Tournament in 2005 and All-Tournament in 2004 during the Fresno Classic. She led ULM to a Southland Conference Championship in 2004-05 under current head coach Mona Martin.
