Team Notes

· Idaho Captains: RB Jerel Brown (Offense), OL Mike Marboe (Offense), DE Maxx Forde (Defense), CB Jayshawn Jordan (Defense), S Tom Hennessey (Special Teams)
· Idaho won the opening coin toss and elected to receive the opening kickoff.
· ULM and Idaho have now met on the gridiron six times… And the all-series is now tied at three games apiece.
· With the win Saturday night, the Warhawks are now 2-0 on the season… It is the first time ULM has started a season 2-0 since the 1993 season, the program's last season at the 1-AA (FCS) level.
· Attendance: 16,694… Seventh largest crowd to visit JPS Field at Malone Stadium for a Sun Belt Conference game.
Offense Notes
· Pete Thomas threw his first touchdown pass as a Warhawk with 6:03 to play in the first quarter… Thomas found Alec Osborne for a two-yard TD pass to even the game at 7-7… The TD reception by Osborne was the first of his career.
· Thomas' second TD pass of the night came with 3:32 to play in the opening quarter as he found Ajalen Holley for a 58-yard score… The TD reception by Holley was his first of the season and sixth of his career.
· Centarius Donald recorded his ninth career rushing score with 20 seconds to play in the first quarter… Donald added his second rushing TD of the night (10th career) with 8:36 to play in the third quarter… Donald's one-yard TD run with nine seconds play gave him three rushing scores on the night, a new career-best for the senior.
· Ajalen Holley recorded a 54- and a 58-yard reception in the opening quarter and in all he had 114 receiving yards in the quarter... He finished the game with six receptions and a career-high 175 receiving yards.
· Pete Thomas engineered the game-winning drive for the Warhawks with a six-play, 73-yard drive that resulted in Donald's one-yard run… Thomas now has six career game-winning fourth quarter (or later) drives.
Defense Notes
· Hunter Kissinger recorded his first interception of the season and fourth of his career… His interception pushed ULM's streak of forcing at least one turnover to 28 straight games (Second longest streak in the nation behind Missouri).
· Cody Robinson had an interception (first of his career)… He also had a fumble recovery in the contest (first of season; second career).
· Justin Backus set a new career-high with 10 tackles in Saturday's contest.
Special Teams Notes
· Justin Manton moved into fourth in school-history in career scoring… He tallied eight points in the game (five PATs, one FG) and now has 184 career points.
· Tyler Cain tallied 58 kick return yards on two returns with a long of 34… In all, Cain totaled 124 all-purpose yards in the game.
