How It Happened
--After a Warhawk interception, New Mexico State scored two plays later to take a 7-0 lead with 12:27 to play in the opening quarter. Larry Rose III found the endzone with his 12 yard rushing score.

--New Mexico State pushed the lead to 14-0 as Andrew Allen connected with Jordan Bergstrom for a 76 yard touchdown pass with 4:08 to play in the opening quarter.

--The Warhawks trimmed the deficit to seven as Marcus Green got behind the Aggie defense and hauled in a 49 yard touchdown from Earnest Carrington with 1:35 to play in the opening quarter. On the four-play drive, quarterback Earnest Carrington was 2-for-2 for 55 yards.

--The Aggies answered with a seven-play, 73 yard drive that resulted in a Larry Rose III one-yard rushing score with 14:55 to play in the second quarter.

--ULM answered right back as the Warhawks used a one-play, 74 yard drive to bring the Warhawks back within seven at 21-14. Earnest Carrington found DeVontae McNeal for a 74-yard touchdown pass with 13:34 to play until the half. The pass by Earnest Carrington was the longest pass play of the season for the Warhawks.

--New Mexico State pushed the lead to 28-14 when Stephen Meredith recorded a nine yard fumble recovery for a touchdown with 12:58 to play in the third quarter.

--After a fumble on a punt attempt by New Mexico State, ULM used a three-play, 11-yard drive that resulted in a Brian Williams to Marcus Green touchdown with 9:34 to play in the third quarter to pull the Warhawks within seven (28-21).

--After a three-and-out by New Mexico State, Brian Williams hit Kaylon Watson for a 48 yard touchdown pass with 7:49 to play in the third quarter as the Warhawks evened the contest at 28-all.

--Hunter Kissinger intercepted Andrew Allen and Brian Williams, after a two yard rush, notched his third straight completion and third straight touchdown pass as he hit Harley Scioneaux on a tipped pass for a 32 yard touchdown with 6:21 to play in the third quarter.

--Jordan Bergstrom hauled in a 10 yard touchdown pass from Andrew Allen to tie the game at 35-35 with 2:05 to play in the third quarter.

--ULM regained the lead, 42-35, when Trey Caldwell intercepted Andrew Allen and returned it 40 yards for a touchdown with 14:12 to play in the fourth quarter.

--ULM was able to keep the Aggies off of the scoreboard in the fourth quarter as the Warhawks held on for a 42-35 win on Saturday.

--DeVontae McNeal's 74 yard touchdown reception was his longest reception of his career.

--New Mexico State's 49 yard field goal attempt with 3:11 to play until halftime was the longest field goal attempted by a Warhawk opponent this season.

--Ben Banogu forced his second fumble of the season and Hunter Kissinger recovered the Aggie turnover. Kissinger's fumble recovery was the first of the season and fourth of his career.

--Hunter Kissinger recorded his 300th career tackle during the third quarter of Saturday's contest.

--Brian Williams tossed his first career touchdown pass with 9:34 to play in the third quarter. Williams 11 yard touchdown pass was hauled in by Marcus Green (it was Green's second TD of the day).

--On Brian Williams' next pass (and the next play for the offense) he found Kaylon Watson for a 48 yard touchdown reception to tie the game at 28-all. Combined with his 11 yard pass to Holley, Williams was 2-for-2 for 59 yards and two touchdowns on back-to-back throws.

--Hunter Kissinger picked off Andrew Allen for his sixth career intereption.

--After Brian Williams rushed for two yards, he completed his third straight pass and third straight TD as he hit Harley Scioneaux on a tipped pass for a 32 yard score with 6:21 to play in the third quarter. Harley Scioneaux's touchdown reception was the 10th of his career.

--Trey Caldwell intercepted his second career pass and returned it 40 yards for a touchdown to give the Warhawks a 42-35 lead with 14:12 to play in the fourth quarter.

--On the next defensive series, Cody Robinson forced a fumble and it was recovered by Ben Banogu with 7:50 to play. It was the first fumble forced of 2015 by Robinson (third career) and the first recovery by Banogu.

--The ULM defense finished with 16 tackles for loss (75 yards) and eight sacks (51 yards) in Saturday's contest.

--Hunter Kissinger led the way with 15 total tackles and 3.5 tackles for loss. Fellow linebackers Michael Johnson and Cody Robinson finished with 13 and 11 tackles respectively. Michael Johnson had two tackles for loss and one sack while Cody Robinson had 2.5 tackles for loss (all sacks).

--Gerrand Johnson, like Cody Robinson, had 2.5 tackles for loss (all sacks) in Saturday's game.

--The Warhawks limited Larry Rose III to 64 rushing yards on 27 carries – he had two carries for 23 yards before finishing with 25 carries for 41 yards.

--Craig Ford was a perfect 5-for-5 on PATs in Saturday's contest. He also kicked off seven times with an average of 59.9 yards and one touchback.

--Chris Qualls punted eight times for an average of 36.0 yards with a long of 43 and three inside the opponent 20.
