The Lady Demons are 2-9 this season after falling 2-9 against #9/11 Baylor on Sunday.
Series History
Wednesday's matchup marks the 117th meeting between the former Southland Conference foes. Northwestern State leads the series overall 54-61-1.
The two programs last met in 2013 when the Lady Demons took a 2-4 victory against the Warhawks at the Lady Demon Diamond.

- This week the Warhawks make a pitstop in Natchitoches, La., to take on Northwestern State for a midweek matchup before traveling to Central Arkansas to compete in ULM's third straight weekend tournament. ULM will face Arkansas Pine Bluff,Delaware, Western Illinois and Central Arkansas this weekend.
- Last week, the Warhawks went a perfect 5-0 at the Mardi Gras Classic, winning four games by run rule decisions. The Warhawks (9-1) stayed perfect on the weekend picking up their eighth-straight win with a 10-2 victory over the Grambling Lady Tigers (0-8).
The 9-1 record is the best ULM squad start since the 2006 season when the Warhawks won 10 straight to open the year.
Sophomore Melanie Coyne picked up her second win on the year ringing up five batters.
Sophomore Rochelle Roberts and redshirt senior Miyuki Navarrete both homered in the contest picking up two RBI each.
