MONROE, La. – ULM head football coach Todd Berry announced today that former ULM player and graduate assistant coach Nate Brown has rejoined the coaching staff. Brown's appointment is pending approval by the University of Louisiana System's Board of Supervisors.
“I am excited to have a former player back at ULM,” said Berry. “Nate was an intelligent player and he understands the defensive scheme we run. He also knows the program and what we are trying to achieve here at ULM. Again, we are excited to have him back on the Warhawk staff.”
Brown will serve as the program's corner backs coach. After his stint as a GA in 2012, he spent one season at Millsaps College where he served as the wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator. In 2014, he served as the defensive backs coach at Grambling State.
ULM will begin spring practice on Monday, March 2.
