MONROE, La. – In their last home game before an eight-game road stand, the Warhawks (20-8, 5-2 SBC) look for revenge from an early season loss as Central Arkansas (21-7) travels to the ULM Softball Complex.
Due to men's basketball hosting the semifinals of the CBI at Fant-Ewing Coliseum, first pitch of Wednesday's game has been moved to 4 p.m.

Scouting the Opponent
Under the veteran leadership of head coach David Kuhn, Central Arkansas enters the midweek match with a 21-7 overall record. The Bears are a perfect 9-0 in Southland Conference play and are riding a three-game win streak.
Central Arkansas comes into Wednesday's game after sweeping Abilene Christian in a three-game series. The Warhawks took an 8-2 victory over ACU in the season's opening weekend.
In non-conference action, the Bears have faced three ranked opponents, the Sun Belt's (9) Louisiana Lafayette, (16) LSU and (20) Notre Dame. The Bears took losses in all three games.
Central Arkansas defeated Arkansas Pine Bluff earlier in the season with an 11-2 victory. The Warhawks have two wins over UAPB, 8-2 and 13-5 respectively.
The programs have a final shared opponent in Delaware with Central Arkansas taking a 7-2 win over the Blue Hens and the Warhawks taking a 7-5 and an 11-3 win.
Sarah Bigej and Sam Forrest are the heart of the Central Arkansas offense, averaging .400 and .382 respectively.
The Bears average .303 as a team at the plate and have 84 extra-base hits on the season.
Kylee Studioso is the anchor of the Central Arkansas pitching staff. She owns a 2.43 ERA through 121 inning pitched. Her opponents average .205 against her as she has struck out 150 batters faced.
Series History
This marks only the eighth time in program history the two programs have faced each other on the diamond.
Central Arkansas holds the series lead with a 2-5 record, as the Bears shutout the Warhawks in the first meeting on the season to win 8-0.
The Warhawks are looking for their first win over the Bears since taking a 3-2 decision in the 2013 season.
Leading Off
The Warhawks face Central Arkansas for the second time this season in Wednesday's midweek showdown. ULM looks for revenge as the Bears shut the Warhawk offense out to take a 0-8 victory.
•The Warhawks split a doubleheader with Sun Belt foe Texas State to move to 5-2 in conference play. With 15 conference games left, ULM is one win away from tying 2014's mark and fi ve away from tying ULM's most win in Sun Belt action.
•The Warhawks picked up their 20th victory on the season defeating Texas State 7-4. ULM is on pace to pick up 30 wins on the season for the first time since the 2001 season.
•The Warhawks 5-2 start in Sun Belt Conference play is the best start for the program since moving to the conference in 2007.
•With 21 RBI on the season, senior Alexis Cacioppo moves her career total to 113 to secure fifth place on ULM's career RBI leader board
•In the first RPI on the 2015 season, ULM ranks 83. The Sun Belt has six teams in the top 100 of the RPI rankings.
•With a perfect 22-22 stolen bases on the season, sophomore Rochelle Roberts is sixth in the nation in that category.

MONROE, La. – The ULM offense propelled the Warhawks (20-8, 5-2 SBC) to a win in game two to split the doubleheader with Texas State (19-13, 5-3 SBC) and pick up the program's 20th win in the 2015 season.
Senior Alexis Cacioppo picked up three RBI for the Warhawks (20-8, 5-2 SBC) moving herself into fifth place on the Warhawks all-time RBI career leaderboard. Freshman Cheyanne Lyon picked up two RBI on the day to fuel the Warhawk offense.
Freshman Paige Porter picked up the win for the Warhawks, moving to 8-2 on the season.
